Arbitration Experience

Acting as solicitor on behalf of clients in arbitration in a wide variety of jurisdictions. These include well over 150 London Maritime Arbitration Association arbitrations, arbitrations subject to the SIAC, ICC, CIETAC, UNCITRAL and SCMA rules, two statutory arbitrations in Chile, under the Construction Industry Arbitration Commission Rules of the Philippines and under many various London trade association rules, including GAFTA, FOSFA and the Refined Sugar Association.

To June 2018 appointed as arbitrator by ICC, SIAC, SCMA and KLIAC and ad hoc (including 10 under the LMAA terms) on about 60 occasions and published 15 reasoned awards as sole arbitrator (including one as emergency arbitrator under the SIAC rules) and 15 reasoned awards as part of a panel of two or three.
